The Artist

KVA

Eva Faure is a French artist born in Nice in 1990. A sunny, dynamic and multicultural city, the environment in which she grew up allowed her to enjoy a childhood cradled by different forms of art, which very early on challenged her and echoed her.

Watching her father, a painter, mixing colors with meticulousness, expressing himself in his works with a commitment of her own, pushed her to seek a way to express herself.

At first attracted by dance, rhythm, music and vibrations. She finds in contemporary dance and flamenco an outlet to let herself go to what drives her.

But dance does not leave a trace, so she continues to search.

Driven by the desire to succeed in her professional career by creating, she started a career as a dental technician at the age of 16 and gradually perfected her skills as a ceramist, which sharpened her dexterity, her patience, her relationship with symmetry and aesthetics.

She draws from time to time, at first as a way to clear her mind and escape during difficult periods. But very quickly, her drawings become structured, geometrized and the time spent harmonizing lines and colors becomes vital.

Then painting naturally replaced the drawings, as a need to leave a more visual trace of her emotions in order to share them.

Today, she continues to explore new horizons by showing an inexhaustible imagination in the structure of her works as well as in the way she expresses them.

She invents her own pictorial language, leading the viewer, through her different series, to follow her in the path of her thoughts. From geometric abstraction to symbolic representation, her energy is felt in each of her paintings. She handles the art of pareidolia and has fun with it so that everyone can interpret these forms and their vibrations according to their feelings.

It is with love and sincerity that she delivers to you today a part of her emotions through her works which, if you take the time to contemplate them, are as many invitations to the voyage towards her universe.
